Biology Seminar an upper level science class meant to explore world-life implications of key biological and scientific theories and findings within the current world.
Students will explore key content, primary documents, and current examples of the following biological 'themes':
As students explore larger systems, beginning from cells and transitioning up into the biosphere, the focus will remain on both local and global examples of diverse problems, issues, and examples. The course will also focus a great deal on scientific literacy and communication, as well as independently-driven scientific experiments. Critical skills to the classroom will include data analysis and synthesizing conclusions from experiments and scientific data. |
